I love First Presbyterian Church! I have found a true home here where I can worship, study, learn, laugh, cry, develop meaningful relationships, pray and discover over and over again the deep love that God has for me through Jesus Christ!

I am always curious as to what brings people to a church. Perhaps they have been long time church members looking for a new church home. Others tell me that their lives were going nowhere real fast and something had to change. Still some people are not sure why they are at the church other than they are trying to discover what their life and purpose is all about.

For whatever reason you find yourself here on the First Presbyterian web site let me say this: "Welcome! I am glad you are here." I found myself along with many others on this great journey of faith and life where the road is long, curvy, sometimes foggy, exciting, mundane and downright exciting!

God declares, " I know the plans I have for you. Plans not to harm you but to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29.11)

What plans does God have in store for you? I have no idea, but I do know that they are plans to give you hope and a great future. Come join us a we run this race of life together discovering along the way what these great hopeful plans are all about.
